…Looking back with love on the me of the past, holding the wisdom that came with time—this is what gives me faith for the future. It didn’t matter how rough things felt at the time, eventually, I gained a perspective where I at last understood the reason why all those things had to happen…

But the nagging feeling that there is something more—this seems to be connected specifically to human consciousness…

Inadequacy, shame, boundarilessness, all under the guise of confidence, assertiveness and kindness. That was the storybook I had picked up. Let me have a go. What does that feel like?

We each may have different ways to describe this, but when you experience it in your Being, you KNOW it in your core. And when you truly understand this, you do not reject your incarnation but you embrace it in all its aspects…

There is a certain kind of HIGH or EXTRA giving which has been called Sacrifice. If we do not resonate with or connect to this term, we could use a word like surrender, consecration, dedication, offering, if that helps us. The point is to understand that there is indeed a Cosmic Law which many teachers have endeavored to explain to students, that for increasing gains, manifestations, Divine Expressions of greater and greater magnitudes, the COST is greater, but so is the reward…

But how about a spiritual waffle? What does that mean? …Okay, but what if I REALLY feel like I don’t know? And I’m confused? …in those moments of disconnection from our more powerful inner guidance we say, “I DON’T UNDERSTAND. I CAN’T UNDERSTAND. NOR WILL I EVER.”

“That’s too hard for me. I won’t meditate on that now. I cannot dissolve that ego yet. That person knows things, but I don’t know. And I can’t know right now.”

“Why me? When is my turn? Your pain is felt. It is real. It is a journey of restriction, tightening, suffering, to feel this side of reality…”

“When one Indian guru was going upstairs to visit a young man that invited him, the young man was frantically busy trying to tear the nudie-cutie posters he had plastered all over his wall, lest the guru should see them. Of course, the youth did not complete his task in time, and the guru caught him in the act…”

Those who wish to keep us down will tell us we are crazy... This is another form of gaslighting. Sometimes, we perceive VERY clearly and others who have not yet expanded to this view will fight to try to “snap us back” into their reality, because our very presence threatens to shatter theirs…

We have so many complaints, so many dissatisfactions, so many expectations, so many disappointments. Everything is not how we imagined that we wanted it to be. So we protest. We become angry and frustrated.

Awakening is simply raising our understanding of reality…It is received in layers as a series of reality-breaking events
